The walk up the valley is as breath taking as ever flowers were in full bloom cherry blossoms, rhododendrons wild flowers colors are brilliant we made it to MonJu and have a easy uphill walk to Namche. We start the day with the tea house Mama giving us a Kata starting our journey. we will take a day and make a trek to everest view hotel then over to Kung jung the sight of the Hilliard school, one of Hillarys hospitals and the famous potato cellar.   I get pictures and send back to my everest team of last year. Trotty is a good sport about me staging falling into the cellar the child has grown a foot and may have been big enough to break her fall this year.

Namche Bazar is built in a bowl with steps going up and a maze of roads none running strait. Yaks,people, porters,Shops, restaurants, and hotels on every crooked street. We have our foot race up the last flight of stairs to the hotel to see who can get the most winded.  We have others join the race to shame us we are acting like school kids.  This is always one of my favorite days that we call a rest day it is nothing close to resting and always a great day.

Lesson to grandkids:

Don’t be afraid to act like school kid.  Let joy be spontaneous.  My karma is coming back.
